Complexity vs. Clarity

Visual noise is filtered through a 'glance test'. If a UI element isn't actionable within 0.5s, it gets cut or redesigned.
Novelty vs. Usability
Risk: Unintuitive mechanics.
We prototype core loops in 3 days. If the mechanic doesn't feel 'magic' instantly, it's re-scoped to reduce friction.
